Homemade horse energy bars recipe wanted!

I want to make a homemade energy bar for my horse on our long rides. I want to include some electrolytes and some things for energy. My one horse is an Arabian so i don't want to much energy but I also have a quarter horse that may need it more than he does. Anyway, I haven't been able to find a recipe online, was wondering if you knew some good ingredients to include in such a bar? Thank you for your time.
