Artifact: Mankind's Oldest Art
In the Scientific American magazine, May 2005, there was an advertisement for the Baden-Wurttemberg University. It included the picture above, with the caption: Wild horse made of Mamoth ivory, found in the nearby Vogelgerd Cave; At 35,000 years old, mankind's earliest work of art-- on exhibit at the University Museum.
